Synopsis
Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before. With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must forge an unlikely alliance. The filmmakers of the previous films have cited playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2001) and the standalone game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) for inspiration. The film also draws narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993). Commander Walters: [about Shadow] Shadow’s story began much like yours, Sonic.
